学系简介

环境健康与食品科技系是我院历史悠久的一个系,其前身是生物技术系,迄今为止已为社会培养了大批专业技术人才。现设园艺技术、环境监测与控制技术、康复工程技术及绿色食品生产与检验四个专业。我系现有在校生1320人。2017年我系将开设农产品流通与管理、食品质量与安全两个新专业。

园艺技术专业为杭州市属高校第一批市级重点专业,园艺技术实训基地是杭州市属高校第一批市级重点实训基地。2015年被杭州市教育局确定为杭州市属高校产学对接中高职衔接示范专业。专业定位《都市园艺》方向,培养具备园艺作物生产经营和观赏植物景观布置与施工等职业技能,能够从事园艺产品生产管理和植物景观设计、施工与管理等岗位工作的技术技能型人才。专业拥有一批重视实践教学和培养学生动手能力的双师型教师,聘请相关企业的技术人员作为理论和实践的外聘指导教师,同时聘请省市科研院所、园艺行业知名企业的教授、一线专家为园艺专业指导委员会成员,为专业发展出谋划策。

环境监测与控制技术为杭州市属高校第一批优秀市级重点专业,面向浙江省环保行业及企事业单位,培养具备样品采样、分析检验、环境监测、污染控制运行管理能力,从事在工矿企业的分析检验、环境监测、环保设备运行与管理、环境监察管理、室内环境检测与治理、企业安全与管理等岗位工作的高素质技能型人才。该专业目前拥有教授2人,副教授3人,专业教师均为硕士及以上学位,专业拥有省市精品课程4门,每人均有省市在研项目,服务社会企业。

康复工程技术专业成立于2015年。该专业培养具有康复辅助器具设计必备的基础理论知识,具备从事肢体残疾人假肢矫形器的设计、制作、适配、维护和护理服务等实际工作的基本能力和基本技能,具有创新和实践精神、良好的职业道德和健全体魄的高素质技能型专门人才。该专业拥有1名教授,1名博士, 4名海外硕士以及2名经验丰富的康复工程师。

绿色食品生产与检验专业开设于2007年。本专业面向浙江省绿色食品产业发展的需要,培养职业道德与专业技能兼备、理论与实践并重并具有可持续发展潜力,掌握绿色食品生产与检验基本理论与专门知识和加工工艺,具备绿色食品生产加工、检验监督、管理营销能力,能够从事绿色食品企业生产加工、检验、质量管理、销售,以及相关部门检测、监督工作的发展型、复合型、创新型、具有国际视野的技术技能型人才。该专业目前拥有教授1人、副教授3人,博士4人,在读博士1人,专业教师均为硕士及以上学位,并且每人均有省、市级在研项目,最近又引进具有丰富企业经验教师一人。为了加强应用研究、服务企业,于2009年成立了食品研究所。

环境健康与食品科技系建有园产品品质生理及商品化技术、环境监测、绿色食品生产与检验综合实训中心、组织培养、植物生理、土壤分析、植物保护、水处理、大气污染控制、分析监测、显微镜、CAD等十多个实验、实训室,拥有液相色谱仪、气相色谱仪、色差计等高级分析仪器,设备先进。其中园产品品质生理及商品化技术实验室是杭州市属高校重点实验室。此外,我系拥有一个康复中心,该中心拥有拥有取型室,修型室,装配室,康复训练室,示教中心等专业实验室6个,拥有脊柱取型架,打磨机,烤箱、烘箱、红外线平板加热器,台钳,钻床,数显真空泵等齐全的仪器设备。

环境健康与食品科技系一直注重学生的实践技能培养,建立了杭州秀山美地农业科技有限公司、杭州格林森园艺科技有限公司、浙江传化生物技术有限公司、杭州西溪国家湿地公园、杭州市农业科学研究院、杭州西湖国际高尔夫乡村俱乐部有限公司、浙江新迪国际食品有限公司、杭州豆制品有限公司、浙江省环境监测中心、浙江化工研究院、西湖水域管理处等校外实训基地50多个,为学生的技能培养提供了广阔的空间。

BriefIntroduction of The Department

TheDepartment of Environment, Health and Food Technology is one of the departmentswith a long history in the college, formerly known as The Department of Biotechnology.It has so far educated and trained a large number of professional and technicalpersonnel in the related field. Now it has set up 4 majors, namelyHorticultural Technology, Environmental Monitoring and Control TechnologyRehabilitation Engineering, and Green Food Productionand Inspection. There are 1320 students currently studying in the department.Furthermoreourdepartment will set up two new majors including agricultural productcirculation and management, Food Quality and Safety in 2017.

The majorof Horticultural Technology is one of the first municipal-level key majorsamong the high educational institutions in Hangzhou, and the HorticulturalTechnology Training Base is the first municipal-level key training base inHangzhou. It was graded as one of the Hangzhou Municipal Model Programs by MunicipalEducation Bureau in 2015. The major orientation is urban horticulture. It is devoted to cultivating the high-quality skillfultalents with innovation spirit and practical ability, who are skillful in thefields of production and operation of horticulture crops, and landscape layoutand construction of ornamental plant. It has a group of Double QualifiedTeachers who attach great importance to practical teaching and the practicalability of students; furthermore, some technical staffs from the concernedindustry have been employed as adviser to instruct students in theory andpractice. Some renowned professors from provincial or municipal researchinstitutes and horticultural industry as well as those forefront experts havealso been employed as members of Professional Instruction Committee, to givethe advice for the development of Horticultural Technology.

The majorof Environmental Monitoring and Control Technology is also one of the firstmunicipal-level key majors among the high educational institutions in Hangzhou.It is devoted to cultivating the high-quality skillful talents with innovationspirit and practical ability to serve environmental protection industries andenterprise, who are skillful in the fields of sampling, analysis and testing,environment monitoring, environmental pollution control, indoor environmentalimpact testing and management, enterprise security and management positionworking. It has 2 professors, 3 associate professors and all the professionalteachers have obtained Master’s Degree or above, and each of them serves forenterprises and has provincial and municipal level research projects. Moreover,this major has 4 province-level top quality courses

The majorof Rehabilitation Engineering was established in 2015. Prosthetics andorthotics aim to improve the condition or function of people with disabilities,thus to enhance their quality of life. The scope covers design of prostheticcomponents and interfaces, control of prostheses, smart orthotic devices,management of foot problems, stroke, cerebral palsy, scoliosis and other spinaldeformities, outcome measures of prosthetic and orthotic interventions,evidence-based practice, and other engineering or clinical aspects ofprosthetics and orthotics. Students are educated and trained to support acertified practitioner by assisting in orthotic and prosthetic patient care.This major has 1 professor, 1 Ph.D., 4 Masters with oversea education backgroundand 2 experienced rehabilitation engineers.

The majorof Green Food Production and Inspection was established in 2007. It is devotedto cultivating the high-quality skillful talents with international perspectiveand innovation spiritwho areskillful in the fields of food producing and processing, food inspection andsupervision, food quality management, and food sales. This major has 1professor, 3 associate professors, 4 Ph.D. and 1 Ph.D. candidate. All theprofessional teachers have obtained Master's Degree or above, and each of themhas provincial and municipal level research projects. A teacher with richbusiness experience has also been introduced recently. In order to strengthen appliedresearch and serve for enterprises, the Food Research Institute was establishedin 2009.

TheDepartment of Environment, Health and Food Technology has an integratedtraining center with garden products quality physiological and commercializedtechnology, environmental monitoring, and green food production and testingtechnology, and more than 10 experimenting and training rooms, including tissueculture, plant physiology, soil analysis, plant protection, water treatment, airpollution control, analysis monitoring, microscopes, and CAD etc. It is alsoequipped with advanced analytical instruments, such as liquid chromatography,gas chromatography, and colorimeter. The Garden Product Quality Physiologicaland Commercialized Technology Laboratory is the key lab among the high educationalinstitutions in Hangzhou. Furthermorethereis a rehabilitation center in our department. The rehabilitation centerhas P&O Clinical Area, P&O Fabrication Laboratory, Machine Room,Plaster Rectification Laboratory, Human Movement Analysis Laboratory, P&OResearch Laboratory and all necessary teaching and training facilities.

TheDepartment of Environment, Health and Food Technology has been focusing ontraining students’ practical skills. It has more than 50 off-campus trainingbases, such as Hangzhou Xiushan Meidi Agricultural Science and Technology Co.Ltd., Hangzhou Gleason Gardening Technology Co. Ltd. , Zhejiang ChuanhuaBiotechnology Co. Ltd., Hangzhou Xixi National Wetland Park, HangzhouAgricultural Scientific Research Institute, Hangzhou West Lake InternationalGolf & Country Club Co. Ltd., Zhejiang XinDi International Food Co. Ltd.,Hangzhou Soy Products Co. Ltd., Zhejiang Environment Monitoring Centre,Zhejiang Research Institute of Chemical Industry, Water Area AdministrativeOffice of West Lake, all of which have provided with a broad space for trainingstudents’ skills.

Relying onthe prominent reputation of Wanxiang Group, the Department of Environment,Health and Food Technology will constantly explore further reform anddevelopment.
